Warning: Aggressive Crane

Nice. Almost abstract. I think I'd smooth the background out a bit more, there's a couple darker spots that kind of lead the eye a bit.

Thank you. I did a LOT of cloning, so that's probably part of the BG issue. This was at the zoo, had to get rid of the fence.

I know I don't trust any big birds, or the little ones either, come to think of it.

The real shot here, imo, is the head with the bill crossing the neck, and also the back doesn't have much detail. How about a vertical shot of just the head and neck? I know it's a lot of cropping, but ...

I wish the curve of the neck was slight more exaggerated... the crane obviously didn't give a damn about my compositional needs.

Close, but the lack of detail on the back still bothers me. I would crop the bottom up to the point where the neck, the back and the background meet and then clone over the rest. With that nice OOF background the cloning should work well. I might also crop some on the left, but then I'm always looking to crop stuff.
