Warranty or insurance

I am thinking about buying a new camera and considering a "Drops and spills" warranty. I was looking to either buying from amazon or B&H. B&H's warranty are 3 times the cost of the amazon's. Had anyone had any experience with either one of them? or maybe I should look into other options out there. I'd appreciate any advice on the matter. Well, in the half an hour I was looking at the warranty options , B&H ran out of the cameras, so I just might have to go with amazon regardless, but still would like an opinion on best warranty options.

What are the terms of the warranty? Obviously it will need to cover accidental damage.

Is it a monthly premium? How many months until the insurance is more expensive than the equipment?

That's how I usually decide. If its (for easy math) a $60 item and insurance is $10/mo, do I think I'll break it in 6 months with normal use?
