What's new

Warts & all.

It gives me comfort, Ron, to know that this world has people like you in it. How does the old Simon and Garfunkel song go? "Slow down... make the moment last..." We all tend to be so busy in our lives, we forget to "live" and "see" and even become part of what's around us. Your postings are like a breath of fresh air - simple, but good, and giving us an excuse toslow down and observe. I don't respond to every post, but consider for each one you make, a silent "thank you" from me.

x2 I always enjoy your terrific images! Makes me want that 105 macro lens all the more! ;-)

Did you lick it? Huh? Did you? I know you did...all you Canadians are toad-lickers! Vive Minnesnowta!

This baby lives in the crawl space under my house. First chance I've gotten to take a shot. Angle is terrible but he's about 6 inches long.

Fantastic! I've been trying to catch my garden toads for weeks. They're fast!

That's a fat frog. You need about 20 of them for a feed of legs. ;)

He's been under our house for over 5 years. I guarantee he has substantial food source below. I've just caught brief glimpses of him before so was really surprised when he posed.
