Was contemplating eating a sandwich.

Snuck up on'em at the 2nd spot accidentally, was thinking about eating my sandwich when 2 buggers got spooked infront of me. Didn't even know they were there behind the bush's & had stuff all time to bring the camera up.

Thought dam and went back to thinking about my sandwich and which tree stump i was gonna sit on and when 3 more got spooked and bounded away from the same spot. Had the camera in hand but still not enough time, just caught the tail ending.

An Eastern Rosella, was in the full shade of the tree though. Brought out the shadow in lightroom and added some sharpening.

That’s why I never think about sandwiches. As soon as you do, all the excitement happens.
