Yes, I believe it's too dark. A little fill might have helped.

Yes, a little dark. But not so dark that a little pp could not make it "pop".
I like the flower!
We have those in our garden, but to the present day I don't know what they are called.
But looking at this photo reminds me of the fact that I tested my very first photo in RAW on a flower of this very kind .

I was hesitant to use fill flash because I didn't want to get rid of the gorgeous yellow light of the day. But then it barely turned out in the photo. Post processing here I come!
