I'll second previous post...

why wasted?

Looks like the books are all from 2003. How much of the information in those books would be useful today? Or maybe someone studied in 03' and took a hiatus for a few years and what they learned is already out of date and updated?

I think there's still plenty of 2003 servers out there. It doesn't signify the year but the model. Like Windows Vista/XP/7

with Microsoft those certifications are valid as long as you're operating with those System and usually the information is easily transferable (and for the most part still relevant and unchanged), usually only two exams on top of your previous certification to be re-certified in the new System (which is far less than starting from scratch). plus these new systems come years apart (2003, 2007 etc) so its never waste.....not to mention it is an IT based profession knowledge so its always ever changing and ever evolving, so its part of keeping yourself in the game, i dont feel knowledge is ever wasted.

why wasted?

Sorry, I have some medical issues that have forced me into retirement. Therefore, the $15,000+ I spent on my education was a waste of money.

Read this and you will better understand... Sorry for being unclear...
