Waterfall

I found this waterfall while backpacking in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.



Ilford HP5 Plus film (ISO 400)
Canon Rebel T2 at 3 seconds
Sigma 28-90mm f3.5-5.6 at 28mm f11

It's very beautiful! I love how the water in waterfalls almost looks fake or painted. :)

tis a lovely spot indeed :)

Just a couple of quick comments:
1. The upper part of the photo is bit washed out - but that could be the result of scanning your print
2. The image is slighty too centered

Other than that I dig the composition - The log in front adds an interesting element to the photo. Good stuff mate :)

Thanks, I thought of the image being too centered while taking the photo, but I wanted to include the trees on both sides of the waterfall. Also, I couldn't have gotten a different angle because I was standing on the only rock in the water, and the banks had some slick green algae on them. Thanks for the comments!

yea i agree it is a bit too centred, but its still a good capture and the log certainly adds interest :thumbup:
