He everyone, new to the forum. I also am interested in making a website for my photography but I am not sure about flash. I like the way it looks but it sometimes does work a little slow. Does any one have any other suggestions for sites to use other than bludomain? Thank you for your help.

I used lynda.com, learned xhtml, css, and how to impliment flash viewers and built my own site... great if you have the time to do this. If not see if there are any local web designers with good reputations

I use BlueHost with my wordpress blog & have had no problems.

Flash:
Flash looks great on a site. There are, however, two major issues with Flash:

1. Slow load times for folks on slower internet connections.
2. Flash isn't SEO friendly (for the most part); html sites are generally going to be way better for SEO.
