Its very hard to tell it is actually a wedding

I like the concept, but the execution is flawed. The blown out area takes my attention first instead of the subjects.

Agree ^^ I would like to see this have been done with a G-ND to reduce the intensity of the sun somewhat and allow a little more detail / exposure of the people.

This looks very apocalyptic. I think a lower shooting angle might have improved this a bit, to bring the figure up closer to the sun. But then it starts to look a bit like a cliched movie poster, perhaps?
