If you can, go there again and shoot it during a new moon, THAN you'll see stars!
I've tried doing long exposures under a new moon, but all you get is a silhouette of the landscape because of how extremely dim the light is. However, I HAVE done new moon pictures of a friend of mine's truck and "painted" it with a white LED flashlight. All you could see was the truck and star streaks. It was a really cool effect, but I don't have any idea what happened to the picture. It sounds like it's time for a reshoot! :mrgreen:
