Flowers oblige as subjects because beside being pretty, they sit still and rarely argue. Tracked down my Helios 44 - 2 , added a 10mm tube and....

the Helios is a unique bokeh machine and is creamy soft wide open

Unintentionally, I'm keeping with the flower theme. These were hand held, all at 102mm on a 70-200, all at 1/200 (should've gone slower to hold down ISO), auto ISO. Tried to hold the same composition and then cropped in to each photo as well.

In the un-cropped photo I preferred f/4 or f/7.1, in the cropped versions I definitely preferred f/2.8

I live walking distance from Arlington and have ID to get on the post that abuts it but that did not help today as the cemetery is still effectively closed. Something I did not realize.

So these Memorial Day shots were taken through the fence making what I envisioned more difficult.
