For this week’s challenge, look for patterns of light. Capture these reflections, shadows, bounces, flares... Use them to highlight or isolate your subject or make this the subject itself.

As always, new photos only for the challenge please.

The sunlight of this morning in the kitchen, which resulted in a beautiful play of light between our plants on the dining table, extra layer of the same image made as a color-negative plus extra layer in a deep magenta hue, saturation increased.

Pattern of light challenge, photo 1.

Ilford Delta 400 experiment. Pulled to 100, Tmax developer 1:6, 2 aggressive agitations (a single shake) in 9 minutes. Not very good for the emulsion. Nikon F2, 50mm f1.8 Ais. No edit, just a re-scale in Gimp.

This is my view when I’m relaxing in my recliner on our covered deck. I like to watch the pool water highlights dancing on the ceiling -it’s very hypnotic. Hard to capture though...
