weird situation

So I'm at Best Buy today, xmas eve. Found a few things I needed, then strolled over to the DSLRs to just see what's up. Some guy there asks me if I "know" cameras. I tell him "yea, kinda" and start answering his questions. Then another guy walks over, and another. They treated me like I worked for Best Buy. What I haven't told you is that I actually used to work for Best Buy --- over a decade ago. It was eerie how quickly I got back into the blue-shirt role. I almost asked if they wanted a service plan.

Oh, there is a reason! Service plans are extremely high profit for them (and other merchants). The Service Plans hardly ever get used, so they are basically just free money for the seller.
