Went flying this weekend - Added pics

I finally got to fly in a warbird this weekend, actually two of them. Saturday I flew in the Collings foundation B-17

And thier B-24

It was a most amazing weekend, I will post pictures when I get them back from the lab.

wow I am so JEALOUS! I love it when I get to go flying, but to fly in one of those, has got to be AMAZING!

Those pics are from the Collings Foundation site, Photobucket was down last night so I couldn't post the other pics I have.

It was a great time and each ride costs $400 but is a tax deductible donation. The Collings Foundation tours these aircraft around the country every year. Check out thier site at http://www.collingsfoundation.org/ for a tour schedule. It might seem like a lot of money for a 30 minute flight but it is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and well worth it.
