What are these camera studs/mounts called?

Hi All,

What are these type of mounts/studs called? Anyone know? I've heard they are super to have on hand, but don't know where to order them. I'd appreciate any opinions and ordering sites with the correct name for them.

Or alternatives recommendations if you know of any. And what do most of you use them for by the way?

Not exactly. I'm doing more searching and finding that they might be for the bogen manfrotto super clamps?

Looks like they 're 1/4 inch X20 to 3/8 inch X20 adapters. Most likely to fit a camera to a stationary mount or tripod.

But I'm just guessin'

nope, those are studs to put into floor stands, booms, and any other stand for studio strobes.
