What's new

What are you watching on TV right now?

To keep legal bills down, watching "The Ladies Companion" on Netflix. Sort of " Bridgerton" meets "Fleabag." Spanish language. Pretty, entertaining fluff(can say that safely here...).

Watched "American Flyers" 1985 on VHS. Had a surprise when St. Lou was featured in the first act. Cool. Movie was written by the same peeps that did "Breaking Away" my favorite bicycle movie. I also like "The Flying Scotsman" with Jonny Lee Miller.

I've been hearing about a new show lately from South Korea. I doubt if it will be available in North America for a while. It will probably be called "The Goblin" in English. It stars Gong Yu (might be Romanized as "Gong Yoo"). It's a comedy/drama about a ghost of a military General who comes back (or hangs around after death) and brings justice or makes things right for people. The comedy seems centered around his "living" with a couple of other ghosts doing similar things. One is a guy who looks about thirty-ish and another is a young-looking girl (college age?). The three seem to be just getting to know each other, and they don't always get along that well.

I'm watching a very interesting documentary on famous photographers.

CBS - Photographers capturing history and unforgettable moments

I'm watching the new Black Mirror season, haven't been able to get to it earlier. The very first episode is absolutely unsettling, that's exactly what got me into the series years back. Can recommend.

CLASSIC! 1962 Monaco GP
Beautifully restored footage. Those chopper shots--WOW!
Period F1 cars were so spare and elegant--ad-free, too! Then there's the old course...
Sip some Pernod on a balcony or yacht and enjoy!
