What is "pro bono"?

I thought I new what that mean.... but now I'm not sure.
What is pro bono in photography?

Working for free. It is usually applied in the context of someone who would normally do the job for money, but who for some reason or another, offers to do it without compensation.

Latin, "pro bono publico"--it means "for the public good." It was originally used specifically for legal work done for free as a service to the public, but these days it's just called "pro bono" and refers to just about any field.

Probably explains why dictionary sales are down as well. Obviously amolitor and sm4him do have dictionaries and they know how to use them for something other than propping up a table with one short leg. :thumbup:
