Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I was editing a picture of my friend that I shot the other day while playing with OCF and when I was saving I noticed the edges aren't flush..? I'm not sure if that is the term or not but it seems like the edges kind of round out towards the corners. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,

probably because you shot at 1/25. Camera shake most likely, especially at 145mm
the edges can be if you tried to straighten the horizon and your background was set to black?

Mo, Thanks for the comment on the picture, I will keep that in mind when I do more. And I thought that may be the case (straightening the photo and bg was black) but, even in the RAW the edges are like that. I didn't notice it until I was saving. It's weird.

Yes yes...I've seen it before. I think it's that "I think your mom's hot" look. Very hard to get rid of.

Wait..should I have read the OP before posting?

Haha it might help. LOL.

you used 18mm didnt you?

Yes because I didn't have the 50 at the time. Why?

I am not sure why you have the black edges. Maybe you made a mistake on post processing. Did you do lens correction or something? At first I thought it was black from the hood, but doesnt look like it. If your hood is too long, it will show a round vignette.

I though it would be pp but it's on the raw file as well. And since it was shot with the 18-55mm I don't have a hood for that. It's completely stumping me and can't find anything on it. I have another RaW file with the same skewing, if that's what you would call it. So confused. :(

Edit: Actually I was using the 55-200 but no lens hood. Sorry for that.

The I think there is really something wrong with your camera or lens. Can someone else chime in?

Yes someone please! It's not on all of the pictures its just two...so so frustrating.

If I were you, I would run some tests.

Does it happen with every lens, or just one? If it's only with one, does it happen at every focal length or just certain ones?

Is it even repeatable at all?

Rather than trying to diagnose it from a single photo, or even a couple photos, do some structured experiments to see if there's a pattern to it, and from there you can probably discern where the problem is occurring.

I have not been able to just shoot yet, but looking at the photos that I have taken recently it is with both the 18-55 and 55-200 but not the 50mm....most focal lengths.
