What is your favorite/sharpest L lens

Thanks for the answer. I guess thats quite a lens if it needs to be on a tripod. I had no clue!

Actually most larger lenses have that, just may not be in the picture, you may have to buy them separately, not sure. but most larger lenses have them.

THe reason they have them is so its not front heavy...they position the center of gravity (by moving the tripod point forward) so its not as heavy in the front...
