there are many opinions to be explored but here's a few options. Plus you can submit personal opinions.

My my I didn't expect a troll so soon. You know that you don't have to "waste your time" by reading in the first place? I guess you have nothing better to do.

It's a well tread topic. Canon vs nikon, Chevy vs ford, and so on.

It's not a troll its a TPF Bacon thing but seriously, I love film but love digital even more and it only took me two decades to move to digital,so so happy I did. Instant gratification or cycle bin.

Hmm, what's the purpose of this "opinion" poll ?
Bacon seems to have more interest.

Ford v Chevy.
Kleenex v Puffs.
Pepsi v Coke.
Nike v Reebok
K-Mart v WalMart

The possibilities are endless. And the final result will be................................ inconclusive.

My opinion is that one type of photography uses film, while the other type of photography uses a sensor. One type of photography stores its images on rolls or sheets of film, while the other type of photography stores its images on memory cards. EACH type has unique strengths and weaknesses.

And I think we are done here- thanks for the 20 pages and I'm very pleased that you all behaved so well!

We have a rule about no Digital Vs Film threads and whilst its a rule we don't enforce harshly, I've a feeling that the opening post and poll will only cause fights. IF people want to have a reasoned sensible discussion on the topic then lets start out with a well reasoned opening post
