Aww it should have been the 14 mm lens instead

Oh well, nice anyway. Man there's a lot of things to shoot at Disneyland - will consider a visit one day!

Yeah, that 14-24 2.8 nikon lens is awesome. perhaps he is just jealous. This lens is know for its superior optics and quality. How can anyone hate on this fantastic lens???

I like the smugness and smart-alecky self-assuredness of the posters posting within this thread! [Seriously, Trajectories, I do. I meant EXACTLY what I wrote!]

We need a wee bit of spirit and spunk here...we can't let this place become too genteel and sissified! If we sucked out ALL of the testosterone (and the estrogen) OUT OF this place, TPF would shrivel up and die. Then TPF would be as dead and insipid and boring as Nikon Cafe... (and yes Trajectories, I am being 100 percent serious.]

I normally don't like HDR and heavily tone-mapped stuff too much, but vipgraphx has started working harder on his compositions and is starting to post better and better shots and is lately at least, "taking requests" from The Peanut Gallery,so this sub-forum has become kind of interesting to me, an avowed HDR "not-hater, but not-liker either" kinda guy!

Darrel, I agree with what you said. We just can not please everyone in this world no matter how great of a photographer one is there is always going to be people that just don't like the work...I do listen and have worked harder on my composition, for me it does not come easy not sure why but it just does not. I appreciate you noticing that because its good to know that its getting better.

As far as the comments yeah, I got tired of trying to stick up or fight about it and found it frustrating for me. I found it more fun just to play along and let it go and be confident in myself, I enjoy shooting HDR, I enjoy processing them a certain way and for every one person that does not like it there is another who does. I am pleased with the results that I produce and I try to listen to the good C and C that is given.

I think it's quite cool that TPF is a place to upload and actually get some constructive critisism to work with.
I always encourage friends to upload stuff here, but only if they're willing to take the critisism. This is no showroom, it's dead serious..! :pirate:
