What should I do now?

A customer ordered a picture I took and mpix WILL NOT upload this picture correctly. It uploads and then shows the picture as black with silver lines through it. Should I contact mpix? Where should I go in the meantime to fill this order fast?

Its not the software, as other pictures upload fine. It is one specific picture.

Maybe the file got screwed up. Do you have a back up of the pic?

i have the original unedited, the edited, and the edited with my logo. i don't want to re-edit it.. but maybe i can crop out my logo or something in the other version.

Have you tried contacting mpix and see if they can help? This might be a known issue with a readily-available workaround.

I just contacted them and they told me to resubmit it in rgb color. They said it will still print in b&w though??? I am really confused by what this guy is talking about. I just emailed back and asked him to clarify because its not just "grayscale" it is set to custom black and white tones..

Wouldn't converting it to RGB maintain the B&W tones? The B&W tones should be within the RGB gamut...

Can you maybe print it at Ritz? Or try uploading it to photobucket and see if the same thing happens. Then you'd know if it was their problem or your file.
