what TC will for on this lens.....

nikon 80-200mm F2.8
I thought the nikon TC 20II would work for this lens but went and tryed it out the other day and it would not fit the lens.
we even tryed it ona new one and nope will not work eather??

what about the sigma 2x DG EX TC any one have any experance with it?

If you must get a TC then at least get a 1.4 or 1.5X. Might as well have decent image quality. Get a good tripod if you don't have one. Take care.
