What troubles you when retouching the wedding photos?

Hi guys，we sometimes need do some edits of photos, especially wedding photos for customers. But my wedding photographer friend found it takes much time to retouch wedding photos. I just wonder what troubles you most when touching up the wedding photos for customers? The same problem or any other troubles?

I am interested in the answer too. i cannot imagine why retouching wedding photos is more time consuming that any other photos. For me retouching is definitely related to the style and the culture of the photographer. SOme people spend a lot of time retouching and some others not. Some people believe it is OK to retouch photos and some people believe that it is better to keep them as they are or make tiny changes...but not exaggerate. Let the specialists of the wedding photos explain to us!

I don't like to spend too much time retouching my wedding photos but the thing that bothers me the most if when I have to remove an object from the background that is distracting. Yes, that may need to be done to any type of photo but it happens more often for me during weddings. Sometimes the pace of the wedding day is very fast and I don't get the chance to move things around like I would be able to do during a portrait session where time is not limited. Other than that, there isn't much that I retouch that is a problem.

My wife helps me rotouch photos. Tha main problem - there's always too much photos and too little time.

If they are shot correctly, they should take very little time in post to "optimize"... not "correct"! Unless one has some "style" that requires massive post time... which makes for fake looking photos anyway.

Why not post some befores and afters.... that will give us a better idea what you are doing?
