Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I need to get a backdrop but im not sure of a good site to buy one. what color and pattern should I get thats the most versatile. i was thinking white but people say grey is the best. Ill be lighting these with a flash with a gel.

If you are going to be using gels then grey is what you need. I think you need 18% grey but I think you can use other greys... I'm not sure. For a nice neutral, a cream or a bone color is beautiful and brings out skin tones nicely. White can sometimes be too harsh, I think. Anyways B&H sells backgrounds. Go for seamless savage paper. They have a ton of different colors, and it's affordable.

Google free digital backgrounds, then edit them into some of your current photos. Pick patterns/colors you like best and use that for a guide when you buy fabric.

Do you have a sight that you trust for free digital backgrounds?

As an alternative to digital backdrops, check out realistic printed photography backdrops. It's like having different sets built in your studio, or exotic locations nearby your studio. Lighting on this style of backdrop is easier to match too because both foreground subject and background are right in front of you on the shoot, and you catch match the lighting more accurately because you don't have to imagine what the background will look like later in post production. You can do a lighting match right there on the spot. I've been using Photo Pie to do such shots in our studio.

please don't go digital....any of you..lol.

I would say B&H I been using them for 3 years and haven't had a problem with them at all.

I didn't say to use the digital in processing. Use them to help decide the cloth ones you want to use before you buy them.
