Very good shot. I agree with snowbear. You could also consider lowering the exposure down a bit and masking the subject. That would make the bird and snake pop out more.

Been there, done that. Lowered the levels in the BG and brightened the subject. Anything more looks faked to my eye. Thanks for looking!
