What's going everyone?!

Hello to all! How's everyone doing? Newbie here.

So I picked up photography last Friday (February 16th). Prior to that, I had never known what photography was outside of taking out my cell phone and just taking a picture.

It all began because I was trying to help my wife take some pictures for her IG page (possible blog in the making). I had NOOO idea what any of the terminologies were or what the numbers on the lenses meant. In that 10 day span, I have probably watched over 30 hours of YouTube videos, written down a bunch of pages of notes, and read "Understanding Exposure".

I now LOVEEE going out there and just shooting anything just to practice! I want to become the best photographer I can possibly be.

Now, I have a question since I'm new here. Is there a specific place on this site that I can post my pictures and have people critique it and give me advice?

There are a tonne of talented photographers that can aid you if you have questions.

For feedback post your images in the appropriate photo gallery.
Try and keep a feedback thread to one or two images. This will give people the best opportunity to give a detailed response. This will in turn aid you the most in your photographic journey.
If you can provide background information on your photo that you would like feedback on, this will also aid members with tailoring feedback to your needs.
for example.

Provide camera settings, natural light or if flash was used what settings?
Camera make and model and settings ie. Canon 7DmkII 1/30 F8 iso 200
Lens make and model and focal length is possible. i.e. Canon 70-200mm F4 @ 70mm
Any other pertinent info Subject was 2' in front of the window.

Give the purpose of the shoot and what issues you may be having.
The purpose of this shoot was to get a business headshot.
The issue I am having is that the lighting looks flat. I am looking for suggestions to help with this.

It's not necessary to post all that I suggest but if you do it will stop the first half of a page of questions that are bound to happen.
