What's the best way to trigger the Ranger RX Speed when I already own PW Plus III's?

I just ordered my first kit of "big" lights for location shoots, Elinchrom's Ranger RX Speed AS. I was wondering what the best way to trigger it would be since I already own two Pocket Wizards Plus III? Ideally I don't want a PW attached to it and dangling down held only by a cable... But I heard there was a receiver you could plug in? Is that right? Thanks!

Also how can I shoot at 1/5120s using the A head? Somewhere else it says that triggering the Ranger RX Speed AS is limited to 1/250s? I'm a bit confused!

I was editing my post while you were posting. LOL. You can use your PW's with that adapter.

I'm 99% sure what you're mistaking for shutter speed is actually the flash duration.

1/250 is your sync speed. You need a trigger that will time the strobe to fire so that you only get the tail of the light (HyperSync). Make sure your PW can do HyperSync.

No. A camera's sync speed will for the most part always be the camera's sync speed with a few exceptions. The 1/5120 is the flash duration.
