I really want to get into HDR. I've read the stickies, and I want to start reading up on how to do it well. I understand what it is, but I'm in need of a pretty elaborate tutorial because my HDR photos are lame.

Care to point me in the right direction for some good online research?

For books try Amazon enter HDR in search. Not sure of your location but if appropriate try your local library.

Awesome VIP thanks -

I know I can google HDR tutorials, and I have. But there's a ton of crap out there. Just seeing if someone has something that has helped them.

I started with Trey Ratliff stuckincustoms.com He has some basic tutorials and cites some pretty good reference books.

He also has a downloadable course that for any beginner I think its worth the price!

I use Luminance. I got it originally because it's free. But then, over time, I learned how to use the admittedly difficult controls, and I really don't want anything else. Dynamic HDR is great, but there's more control over the process in Luminance.
