Where to hire?

hey all,

i need to give an estimate of hire costs to the leavers ball committe at school, and i was wondering where the best place to hire simple location lighting and backdrop setupfor the uk would be?

Im thinking maybe two strobes and a backdrop...nothing fancy.

Any advice would be great. Thank you

Do you mean rent? maybe the term is different in the UK.
Here, we have normal photo stores that will rent stuff for a period of time...so maybe you can go visit a few.

The more "enthusiast" type stores usually rent. The consumer stores barely ever do.
