Hit the "go advanced" button, and it will take you to a more advanced reply box, and it should have the smiley's on the side.

Click on the bottom where it says Smilies are On

To the rest of the folks, I don't have smilies on the right either.

Just click on the smileys and they will show up in the text box. Or you can just memorize all the codes like I did! : lol : without the spaces is : biglaugh : without the spaces is : hug :: w/out spaces is :hug:: and so on.
