I have been tinkering with an old 4x5 view cameras. By scanning the negatives into my computer, I can give the film an old-timey look with a touch of sepia and some vignetting.
Next I thought I would see what happen, if I could reduce the films color sensitivity to that of the blue-green orthographic used at the turn of the last century.

If I recall a blue filter passed its blue and blocks red, so I was curious if a blue of blue-green filter this would give me the orthographic film look I am seeking?

Short answer: Yes. Red will be rendered darker and blues lighter.
