Has anyone used the tamron 24-70 2.8 and the Nikon 28-300vr. And if so can u comment on these two lenses? Im thinking of using the 24-70 as a all around lens on a trip to florida.

I looked up your other thread. You're using the D7100, correct?

You should be looking at the Tamron 24-70 f2.8, or if you don't need as much reach, take a look at something like the Sigma 17-50 f2.8.
