I prefer #2, but:

I reset the black point.
Desaturated slightly.
Removed the green color cast.

I too would like and "in between" option. Though, as far as "professional", the composition is wrong to me.

Why not professional?

Because it's a boring, horribly composed, out-of-focus picture of the corner of a room.
