Which point and shoot would you recommend?

Hi everyone! Among the multiple options available right now in compact point and shoot cameras, which one do you think is the best bang for the buck? I'm looking for a point and shoot with very good image quality (in terms of sharpness and real colors). I would use it mainly to take pictures of cakes and other bakery stuff, and for portraits ocassionally. Which point and shoot in the current market do you think offers the best image quality? I don't need a camera with wifi, gps, or any other of those features. I'm just looking for qood IQ with a limited budget of around $200.

Please let me know your thoughts and any advice would be highly appreciated.

At that price point they are all pretty much the same. Pick the features you prefer: Internal or external zoom, black, silver or lime green, weather proof or not. Most will not have any provision for off camera flash or any decent optical viewfinder.
