Camera recommendation

Hi,

I have a quick question to present to the collective wisdom here.

I am a film enthusiast, and shoot mostly 35mm, 120 and some 127. Mostly to photographically document evidence of "high strangeness" in the field, then just for personal enjoyment. Don't ask, it is strange and likely to start arguments which I do not want to do. One thing that I have gotten into this last year is 110 film photography just for fun and a nostalgia trip from when I was a kid. If only there were fox photo booths around today! My 110 stable of cameras include a Minolta Zoom SLR that is a good camera but at least one shot per roll is soft focused. That is OK, it is a fun little camera. Folks ask a lot of questions about it. Next is a Minolta Weathermatic water proof camera done up in bright diver's yellow. I just got it back from a cat in Cali who put new seals in it for me. Alas, I have to wait to next summer to try it out. It is too cold to get in the water now. Finally, I have a Minolta 450E Auto pak. It is a good camera with heft. I think it has a metal frame, but the exterior is plastic.

Now my Q: I would like to find an all metal 110 camera (not a Lomography camera) from the golden era of 110 photography. Does anyone have any suggestions? Brand does not matter as long as it is metal.

Polycarbonate is pretty tough stuff. Also bounces with fewer issues than metal. These were fairly cheap cameras and plastic bodies kept them that way. Compact Fuji X100 series and Ricoh GR series cameras have mag alloy bodies but they ain't cheap because of it.

Frankly, I'd look into the '70s compact 35mm SLRs, e.g., Nikon FG and FM/FE variants and the Pentax ME cameras.YMMV, as always.
