Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I have the EOS T3i and loving it btw, but I want to shoot outdoor images of weather, animals, lakes, rivers, etc, etc, from close and far distances. I've read where some lens can actually zoom in to see craters on the moon? In any event, let's say I'm driving around and see a wolf in the distance, I want to zoom in and see the detail in the face!

What lens do you recommend? Price range is max 2k. Thank you for your help.

The Canon 100-400mm L seems to be the most obvious choice. Alternatively the sigma 150-500 OS or even sigma 50-500mm OS may also be worth looking at

Take a look at this site.

The photographer has a lot of nature and wildlife photos. From the photo, you can see the type of lens or camera he used for the shot. That should give you some ideas for the equipment. As for the cost, you just need to look it up.

Well, with 100-400 you wont be able to take some good landscape photos because your angle won't be wide enough.
