HR CHURN CREEK'S EL DIABLO NUTMEG REVOLUTION JH ~ call name "REV" has instantaneously turned and assumed a SIT to face his owner / handler Rick upon hearing a single peep of the handler's whistle. REV has been conditioned to respond promptly to the signal of a whistle stop no matter where he is (as in the water in this image). Once he sits, the retriever is expected to maintain his intensive visual focus on his handler so that further directional casting can be made to the retriever as given via gestural cues and verbal commands issued by the handler. REV will be directed to the exact location of a hidden bird (known as a blind retrieve) as commanded by his handler. The team effort betwixt handler and retriever is what leads to success whilst the pair work together afield.

THE DOG WHISTLER
