From the car window? Seriously? Deer that close usually involve some swearing, swerving and hard braking. No time to grab a camera. The few I've gotten from a vehicle, even with serious cropping, don't come close. Are you carrying around a 500mm like Zombiesniper?

no, in this area (eastern coastal Virginia) white tail deer are plentiful and close to the road in some areas
but that makes them easy targets for hunters with spot lights

That's a tall rack for that narrow, at least for what we are used to around here.

There is a notable fringe that I particularly noticed around the antlers. Around the rest of it, it could be attributed to the halo of the fur, but doesn't feel quiet right around the antlers. I'm guessing it's from layer masking?
