Dickensian Selfie - It was the best of times...

I decided to play with AI a bit and took one of my selfies and an image of my Honey and composed the following with a Dickensian theme. It worked out fairly well.

I tried a few and all wouldn't allow AI of political figures, until I tried Gemini AI at the Google search prompt.

Rummaged through my mugshot collection recently and thought, "AI might yield some truly weird results." That morphed into a plan to shoot friends and cook up some scary mugshots complete with invented names and rap sheets. Dumb fun...Xmas gifts, too!

Thank you, all! It's fun messing around with the possibilities that can be achieved. I did a couple of Norman Rockwell themes ones for my MIL for her birthday and for Mother's Day, and for our anniversary I did a Freda Kahlo inspired one, because MDW is a Kahlo fan.

I have absolutely no interest in AI, ChatGPT, or whatever all that nonsense is called; to be honest, I am actually not even a big fan of digital photography as such, and yet I must say that I find this image more than successful, although it does look a bit "artificial." But don't forget that photographers can also go pretty wild with retouching via Photoshop these days and the final result often looks just as artificial, so in that respect, it doesn't really matter much. It's a successful project!
