Who says winter can't be fun

I managed to go for a walk; that admittedly became more of a climb towards the end; on saturday. Spent most of today recovering but thought i'd share some pics of the scottish highlands

i'm going to have to take some camera support next time however - some of the better compositions were spoiled by tiered (and slightly cold) hands and arms.

Nice shots overall, although 2 and 4 have some exposure problems. I like #1 the most, despite that I usually don't like people in landscapes.

can't say that i'm particularly experienced:
learning by doing at the moment (althought hopefully that won't end any time soon)

i see what you mean about exposure problems
hmm

how would you adjust to encompass a wider range of exposure?
particulaly in no.4 where there are over-exposed clouds and the under-exposed valley...
or should i be thinking about filters?
