Who you looking at?

New to this but my first attempt at getting an eye reflection.
I have seen so many good photos of this, also water droplet reflections.
Used my canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens.
Any ideas or pointers would be nice.

Looks ok on the thumbnail but viewed at full size it's quite soft. Difficult to determine the issue/s without exif and conditions details.
