Am I wacky or did they just stop working?

I used to do...

URL]

...and it would automatically put the image inline... now... as you can see, it doesn't seem to work.

Your % are messing it up.

Edited to add: Not the right answer. Bitter Jeweler got it below...

"the %'s are messing it up"
No they aren't.

You have to remove the URL tags.

If you paste a link into the WYSIWYG editor it turns it into a link, magically.

Chris I use to have the same issue until I just ended up cutting and pasting the image into the body.

Good to know

vBulletin's WYSIWYG editor has a lot to answer for...

Thre most reliable way to post an image is to manually type the tags and paste your image link between them.

[img]your image link here

Btw Chris that's a nice image!

The text you enter must look like this:

[img]http://www.wickedtiki.com/images/share/Boston - Davis Square - April 2010 - 028.jpg[/img]

What probably messed it up is somehow it got trunctuated.

[img]http://www.wickedtiki.com/images/sha...- 028.jpg[/img] is not the same.

Personally I've notice that if I use the link that my host (Picasa) Web) provides... The
tag does NOT work... However, if I "right click"on the full sized image in Picase and select "Copy Image Url" from the provided options... it DOES work.

I don'r understand it... But whatever works eh?

Kinda like what I said above.

@camz... thanks man.

Bitter... url tags... I didn't put any in, but I DID notice when I pasted the link it was pasted in as a hyperlink instead of just raw text. Are you telling me it is creating url tags when I do that? Maybe the editor is interpreting for me and assuming I want url tags when I don't?

Yep that is what's happening - the software is trying to be helpful and is failing. Myself I've turned part of the WYSIWYG editor off as it kept causing me nightmares at times with its auto editing help.
