I'm just curious...Was this shot with a mirror lens? That bokeh in the background is really weird for just a normal telephoto.

I seem to attract them for some reason. I've got all kinds of shots of animals with them sticking their tongue out at me.

The shot was with a Nikon 70-300 at maximum zoom and maximum aperture. I seldom shoot it at max aperture with that lens and just wanted to try it. Of all the shots I've taken with it I've never seen it do that before. Presumably had I closed it down a stop to where I normally shoot it the bokeh would have been different to.
