Wide Angle for Canon Rebel XTI

Hey,
I'm asking on behalf of a friend, but for an older Canon Rebel XTI, does anyone have any good recommendations for a super wide angle lens? Ideally AF 10-24mm ?
This can be any type of lens. Sigma, Canon, Tamron... you name it.

Price isn't really the issue, it's more about the options.
