lol... these were taken with a D200, the top one on a tripod, the rest are hand-held. There is a little post process sharpening, the rest is knowing your equipment and using it right. For example the first one was taken at F/5.6 at 25 seconds. Don't ask me to hand hold for more than a second at most...lol

how new is the 10-20mm f/3.5 do you know? i wasn't aware it existed. i may have to change my recommendation

Sigma - Lenses

I have not held this lens in my hand, so I cannot tell you if it sucks royally or is incredible. One thing I have learned recently, is that even between good online evaluations and testing it in real life, there are often many important differences.

I would suggest that before purchasing ANY lens, that along with the heavy research that I always advocate... either rent or go to a store and test the lens yourself, possibly comparing it to it's competitor before handing over your hard earned cash.
