This thing is actually useful. :mrgreen:
The same size and dimensions as an iPhone, very light, (approx 70g)
and has a built in flashlight.


oh...and its also a stun gun.
not quite as powerful as the larger stun guns, but this is something she can carry to and from her car and not look like shes carrying anything but her cell phone. I assume that 800k volts is enough to deter someone.
(I thought it was cool anyway)

I may have to pick up a few more of these before they get shut down for making them look too much like an actual iPhone, and using an actual iPhone picture on the box.

800 volts may piss em off a bit, not sure. It all depends on the amps that it generates. The Tasers we carry at work are i believe 50,000 volts that can also be used to drive stun someone. 50,000 volts generally works with am amperage in the range of .02 -.04 amps.

dont know what the miliamps are.
higher voltage needs lower amperage or things get messy.
its the amps that get ya.

Consumer grade stunguns will have lower on average amps than LEO versions. The numbers aren't so much misleading as only being part of the story. The Taser XP26 is listed as 50,000 volts, however upon pulling the trigger with contact the actual voltage drops considerably due to the pulsing action of the electricity. It's that combination of amps and pulsing action that really work their magic.

The best way to test if it actually works is to test it on a willing eager subject - or failing that test it on yourself

we weren't out looking for anything "professional" ...just something that she could easily carry when shes out.
it was my idea, and only because she wont get her carry permit.
she liked that one because it was easy to slip in a pocket, and if she carries it in her hand, it just looks like a cell phone.
