A few months ago I was playing around with settings on my new camera. I was working on panning, and capturing motion. I reiterate that I am new to the camera world ( one's that you don't just point and shoot ) and there's a LOT of things on my optical ( Nikon3000 ) that I am still figuring out.
These pictures were taken in the early morning while tracking a covey of bobwhite. I thought I would share them with you all. As you can tell it was a trail and error with a few of these shots.
1. ) First attempt to pan
2. ) A little better with this flush.
3. ) Undershot - shutter speed wasn't quite right. Still have motion in the wings.
4. ) Finally!
5. ) Ground flushing - the hen was ready to go
6. ) Off she went!
7. ) Nothing but shadows.
These were taken back in April, just a few days after I was gifted my used camera. It has been a joy learning how to use it and learning what features change what! Hoping that this forum can help me learn a little more of the technical side of things.
