That sign is quite common in parts of the Rockies as you leave the Prairies, traverse the Foothills and enter the Front Ranges. This shot looks as if it is just outside the Crowsnest Pass area, where windmills are quite common. About 8% of our power is generated from wind, with more coming on line in the future.
