Window Dressing

Recording the new arrivals at the window feeder for the grandchildren who gave it to me a couple of weeks back.

Young Goldfinch looking pleased with the menu. At 250mmand 2 feet away it is almost macro.

Blue tit with its beak in the trough. (One on the feeder as I type this on the bench just inside about 3 ft away)

Throttled back to get the young Goldie in.

Gives an old chap something to take on a wet afternoon whilst keeping dry and enjoying his coffee and puffing his pipe!

Just shows how much a little fella like the Blue Tit moves its head in 1/60th second!
Grabbed a shot before resetting to at least 1/200th for those above.
I normally try to stay at 1/250th or less, but using flash on a very dull day. Auto tells me it needs 1/50th at iso 3200!
